In order to make our relationship as enjoyable as possible, the following are some mutually beneficial requirements which are necessary to ensure that there are no misunderstandings between either party, that each party is aware of the requirements, and that these requirements are carried out in a business-like manner. If you have any questions regarding any of these policies please feel free to ask.
The policies listed below are set forth by the Child Care Provider and are in accordance with basic guidelines. The words “I”, “me”, and “my” refer to the Child Care Provider. The words “you” or “your” refer to the child’s parent or guardian. Failure to comply with stated terms as agreed upon nullifies the contract and may result in termination at the discretion of the Child Care Provider.
BUSINESS HOURS- Great Valley Daycare is open Monday - Friday from 7a.m. -6p.m. for normal business hours. An overtime fee will be charged at $1 per minute for every minute before opening time that a child is dropped off and every minute beyond closing time that a child is picked up.
FORMS- I must have the following forms completed and signed prior to your child entering into my care. I will not be able to provide care for your child(ren) without them:
- Registration Form
- Transportation Authorization
- Emergency Medical Authorization
- Permission to Administer Medication
- Immunization Card
Under no circumstances shall your child(ren) be released to anyone other than those listed on your Registration Form. If someone other than you will be picking up your child, you will need to let me know in writing. I will ask for I.D., if this is someone I have not met.
RATES-Rates are set based on contracted days of the week and number of hours. These rates are weekly fees payable regardless of your child’s attendance. You are paying for an available slot and this number is limited by the state. It is not possible to fill these with another child. These rates are set as a minimum; anything over will be charged a daily rate in addition to your normal weekly fee. Any days and times not contracted for are subject to availability. Those receiving subsidy care are responsible for any monies not paid by the State of Vermont.
